Hearthwarming Holiday Celebration at the
Atwood Museum
Join us as we kick off and celebrate the holiday season!
Free Admission
On Saturday, December 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the museum will be open with free admission for all. Stop by and start the holiday season celebration with us! The hearth of the Old Atwood House will be ablaze with yuletide cheer, featuring live Christmas music performed by the Aubade Wind Duo. The house will be merrily bright and beautifully decorated, inviting you to step back in time.
Besides the decorated Old House, we will also have several galleries open, and our gift shop will hold its annual “Historic Hauls” sale. Our unique Chatham books and curiosities make special holiday gifts. We will be collecting new hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves for children in need, and non-perishables and canned goods will be collected for the Cape Cod Family Pantry.
Light refreshments and warm beverages will be served, including hot chocolate and warm mulled cider. Please dress warmly and bring good cheer!
After our hearthwarming, the museum will reopen in May 2027.
Happy holidays and a happy New Year!
