Furniture

The furniture collection is mostly on exhibit in the Atwood House that was built c. 1752. The objects are arranged in a series of period rooms in an effort to show how people in a seacoast community like Chatham might have lived from the mid 18th century to the early 20th century. In addition to furniture, there is also a good representation of early ironware and decorative accessories.

If you have items you would like to donate to the collection, please contact the museum by phone at 508-945-2493, or by emailing the Executive Director, Kevin Wright, at [email protected].
