Emmy-Winning musician Mark Bornfield and Broadway veteran D’Jamin Bartlett will perform “Best of Broadway” showcasing music from “Hamilton”, “Cabaret”, “Chicago”, “Phantom of the Opera,” “Les Miserables,” and “Mamma Mia” on Sunday, September 29th from 4-5:30pm. Doors open at 3:30pm.

Chatham Historical Society is proud to partner with the Academy of Performing Arts in support of this Autumn fundraiser for the 2025 Music at the Atwood Concert Series. The concert series spotlights some of the best award-winning Classical, Jazz, Bluegrass, Celtic, and Pop musicians of our region and beyond. In the spirit of Cape Cod community engagement, APA is hosting “Best of Broadway” so both theater lovers and music lovers can help support Atwood’s musical mission. The beautiful theater is home to educational classes and theatrical entertainment, located at 120 Main Street in Orleans.

About the artists:

Mr. Bornfield is a fun, engaging pianist, vocalist, and trumpet player who’s accompanied many notables including Vikki Carr, Whitney Houston, and Jamie Foxx. Ms. Bartlett won a Theater World, Drama Desk, and Show Business Award for her performance of “The Miller’s Son” by Stephen Sondheim from his, “A Little Night Music”. Other Broadway and national tours include “Lend Me A Tenor, “Pippin”, and “Godspell.” She’s been directed by Harold Prince, Jerry Zaks, Bob Fosse, and Martin Charnin. She was leading lady to Elliot Gould, Burt Convey, and Gene Berry and has appeared on the Tonight Show.
