Atwood House & Museum 2019 Opening Weekend

After a long winter season of designing, building, and prepping, the Atwood House & Museum will be having its Opening Weekend on May 24 & 25, Memorial Day Weekend. Come in and see what all the excitement is about at the Museum. There will be three brand new exhibits that will be debuted. These exhibits include Main Street Cape Cod, a historic walk down the Cape Cod main streets we love, Chatham Digs, a closer look at the findings from the archaeological dig that was conducted in 2017 at the Old Atwood House, and The Flight of the NC-4, a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the first transatlantic flight that made a historic pit stop in Chatham, MA.
There will also be the return of many favorite exhibits such as the Double Take exhibit (with some new additions), the Lifesaving and Pendleton Rescue exhibit, the Joseph C. Lincoln Room, the Old Atwood House, and much more! The Museum Gift Shop will be opening for shopping and the grounds are ready for walking and exploring. There will be activities for people of all ages and interests, so bring yourself or a crowd.
Admission to the Museum is free for members, $10 for adults, $5 for children 8 and older, children 7 and under are free.
